Aortic regurgitation after valve replacement is associated with a large angle between aortic root and left ventricle, say French researchers

The risk of aortic regurgitation after aortic valve replacement can be predicted from the angle between the aortic root and the left ventricular inflow long axis, measured preoperatively on contrast-enhanced MDCT, say researchers from France.
